Default HEI Distributor Advice
I need to replace my distributor on my 74 C3 (It was converted from points), currently a stock GM HEI unit is installed. Any advice on stock versus a 3rd party unit ?????

Do you want to go back to a points distributor? Mine was rebuilt in March, 2 months before I got my ZZ4, with the HEI.

No, I like the HEI. I replaced the tach with an elctronic unit out of a 75 C3 last year.

I have set-up hundreds of HEI distributors for racing and have not found anything that works any better than the Delco module and coil. The performance aftermarket stuff works just as well but not better.
