I just looked through about 15 topics and I saw most pics had the license plate numbers covered over. I never thought about the privacy issue so I apologize up front if any forum member has his plate number on my homepage pics. But your plates are out in public for all to see everytime you drive the car. Is this a big issue for you guys...don't quite understand the problem.
Call it cautious paranoia. Most all of the folks on this forum are wonderful, nice, kind, honest folks. What about the rotten few who aren't? This info goes worldwide in milliseconds.
If you were in need of some license tag information to do an unspecified dastardly deed, where would you look?
Me, I'd change the number rather than blank it out. No one would notice (and take up the challenge to find out the "hidden" info) but it wouldn't be usable.
Yeah your right. Well at least the Forum does not have my address or phone #. I feel okay my 4 ton Suburban sits out front of my garage door that's locked with 2 ROTTS sharing the garage with the 77. God help the guy who comes in my garage. :smash: :smash:
