Oil Pressure Sending Unit
Anybody have a pic of the location of the oil pressure sending unit on a 1970 L-46 or similar small block?

The oil pressure line is next to the distributor on a 70. There is no sending unit.

And there you have it, bam.
What, on earth, does this line look like? Thanks again.

Originals were 1/8" OD (give or take) plastic tubing from the fitting on the block, through the firewall, and in to the rear of the oil pressure gauge.
ZIP has them. AIM shows the installation.

Thanks Easy...I'll look at the AIM. Trying to locate this to rule it out as a possible source of a leak I'm having on the 70.

Not my car, but you can see the nylon oil line and brass fitting that exits from the top of the block, just behind the coil and distributor.

Close to there. It routes through the grommet in the firewall. Try UPC 12 in your AIM. Sheet C4 for 68 and probably close to that for your car.
