Seat Track Question Or Bubba at work
I've read the FAQ section and it doesn't address this specific situation from what I can find. I had a very nice pair of 72 seats for my 72 car, but unfortunately they were stolen. Now I've got a pair of 73s that have been redone, but the only tracks I have are from a 79. Are they the wrong ones completely or can they be modified? If it's a difficult modification I'll just add it to the last minute order list...the one that seems to be growing daily. :D

I'm not positive, but I don't think their going to work. The seats were completely redone in 1978 and I assume the seat tracks changed too ! :(

my son has a set of vette seats but were trying to figure out what year there outta------- my 73 has a chrome ''ball'' used to pull the seat foward or back----- these seats have a lever where the ''ball'' on my 73 is ---so im figuring there a later year---- as soon as i get him to shoot a photo im gonna scan and post it --maby they can be used-----carl
