Our Corvette Club is way super groovy cool. We do all kinds of nifty stuff. We go on cruises on the weekends. We do car shows. We entertain the older folks in hospitals. Take handicapped children for rides. We race vipers a/k/a clown shoes. We do parades. We go to the drag strip thing. We do chili cook off's. We go to eachothers houses and share a meal. We even make up holidays so we can get together.
What kind of lame car club do you belong to ? :p:

We have a brand new Club. Since March 1st we have about 50 members. What do we do? Drive together as much as possible, party, eat, wrench together, visit other clubs, arrange parts together, we visit shows, we have a ruise for heavily disabled children (they'll have the day of their life),we have a magazine, our own server & chat channel, a clubhoiuse/workshop and lots more coming. We're basically a club of friends :) No snobs, no classes.. just 110% fun.

We drive around, hang out, have parties, and cokouts. All of our shows raise money for the Camelot House for Children. They help terminally ill children and their families. We even do a show there and to watch the expressions on their faces when we roll up is absolutely priceless.

I have been to exactly 1 event with my corvette club. It was a veterans day parade in my 73. I carried 2 "beauty queens" along the parade route. I had a blast, but nobody but myself thought that it was funny that I kept trying to knock the "beauty queens" backwards by revving my engine. I got dirty looks from the cars in front of me, but I didn't think it was that big of a deal. The "beauty queens" thought it was great and had a blast also, I mean how often does somebody make them look scared to be riding in a parade. Anyway, I haven't been asked to participate in any more parades. The "beauty queens" were two girls that were like 9 and 10 years old and that had to be the best parade of their lives.

Ummmmmmmm,
We have a secret club here on the island....we meet once a month at XXXXX...Then choose a place to meet to make videos of burn-outs and racing our Vettes....We also find the best places to take pictures of our cars...at the end of the year we have a club dinner to review the videos and pick the best burn out videos, best pictures, and best performance cars in our group....You have to be voted in and the dues are $5.00 a month paid during the meeting at XXXXX....You also can be voted out if you violate the secret codes for the next meeting place. If you are the fastest car in our group, you represents the group during races....we stand behind you 100 percent in work/help on your car and financial support. We are a secret club and you will only be approached when a certain criteria and limits are met... :seeya Cappy

We make and sell coffee, hot chocolate and chili/hot dogs at a big give-a-way the city puts on to raise money for the battered women and children right before Christmas. We make a dinner run every month. One person picks the location and the route to get there. It must have twisties! We do all the parades with the city and homecoming events for several towns around the area. We are also a NCCC club so we do a little racing. The Funfest in Effingham is always a road good trip. About 8 cars are leaving this weekend for Shreveport. We have a few that may act a little hot-see-tot-see but I still like to rib 'um. Just tell 'um real Corvettes don't have a trunk. :cheers:

Corvette club???!!!! There's only 2 of us in a 120 mile radius who own corvettes that actually see the sun. :rolleyes: And the two of us know of each other, but have never really talked. I'm gonna have to stop at the other guys shop sometime and shoot the breeze. There are a lot of other vettes around here, but they haven't been driven in years. :rolleyes:

Corvette Cleveland is the name, one of five founding clubs that started NCCC.

My club (Mid Hudson Valley Corvette Association) does allot. We have a show every year with about 150 vettes, BBQ’s, drive outs, cruise’s, dinner meets, weekend trips you name it with the exception of racing..
