Default Headlight Help

So as one thing always leads to another.

I had to replace my 74 bumper covers so while I was in there decided to drill out some broken bolts rebuild actuators ect.

My drivers headlight assembly sits low to the hood so I figured I would move the pivot mount up a little.
Trying to get to the outboard pivot bolts is no fun at all but I could not line it up it looks like the frame section behind the drivers head light assembly is rusted out.

Here are a few pics.

Is there a way to repair this or has anyone repaired and how did you as it looks like it is bonded to the glass?

Is the frame section for sale anywhere?

Should I try and repair now or go at it later?

Thanks

Yes. Headlight header bar. It bonds to the underside of the hood surround panel. It is metal, but it is not part of the frame or birdcage.

Mark the position of your existing header on the underside of the hood surround panel before you begin removing it. Your replacement bar needs to mount in the same position as the old one.

I am also going to clean up everything else while I am in this far.

I would like to remove the vacuum resevoir as it will open up some space and I can get it blasted and painted. Any wisdom on the removal before I begin?

Also I have been trying to search down a good supply for body clips the 1/4 ones plus the ones for trim screws as well as screws and suck but the normal places only seem to sell individual kits specific. Anyone know of a good place to get these things in bulk?

Thanks
