I am trying to re-install my 73's front bumper (the metal bar).
Does anyone have drawings or something with measurements?
I have to assume that some point is the bench mark from which you start.
If you look at the assembly manual UPC 14A sheet 1, I don't understand the "bolt unit #3" and how it goes trough the slider brkt and holds on the fender support.???
Also UPC14 sheet 2 ; When I attach the bumper at each end to the brace assembly I am left with 3/4" gap between the bumper and the slider brkt. Do I fill this with shims? hence back to the drawings....
If someone had a good picture it would be worth a thousand words.
Thanx
Sam

My 74 AIM references UPC 11A Sheet 2 for the support which the bolt unit attaches to. My hunch is that 73 and 74 are the same.

You should be able to move the braces forward. My 74 AIM shows shims only between the crash bar and the frame extension.
