Looks like the price went up a bit ... http://store.yahoo.com/zipproducts/zip-x-218.html

There's the mounting kit (bolts, nuts, etc.) too ... http://store.yahoo.com/zipproducts/zip-bl-360.html

ok johnny..flex fan....3 years ago,,,discount auto parts store,,like pep boys,
VIP etc..may have been on sale, dont remember....
a LOT cheaper than a " corvette " one from a vendor.
these are the "universal" kind, with mounts for diff kind of cars..and they come in colors and look kewl!.
they come in diff sizes also,so if enough clearance you could go up a size,,i didnt..
the mounting " nose "comes in diff lengths to put fan close enough to rad
that you need to do,close is good but be carefull,to close is not good.i left about an inch..pulls air real good..
try the simple stuff first,,when testing water temp remember water NOT under pressure really cant get over 212 deg..maybe try other guages hooked up temp..good luck..

Did you do any work on the carb? I went through this on my 69 last year. THe cooling system was flushed, had a new fan clutch, 75-25 water mix, balanced 180* T stat, new hoses, added Flo-Kooler disc to the water pump impeller, wasted money on "water Wetter",checked timing, new front chin spolier, new radiator seals, car STILL hit 210* on the highway. The gauge was correct as was the sender. Finally checked hte plugs and they were snow white-too lean. Had lars rebuiid the carb and rejet it- solved the problem. Don't know about it this year because I blew the 1/2 u-joint and the car has been down for the past 3 months because of a complete rear suspension rebuild

Actually I just rebuilt the carb but the car had these problems before I did that. I guess after driving it around a little more I should check the plugs. I just read in another post that there is supposed to be a spring the the lower radiator hose? I do not remember having a spring in that hose when I put it on. The hose is new but they never gave me a spring. Is this something that I need to ask for by itself? I should prob replace the radiator seals to.
