I just got my camshaft and intake today :D I'm the happiest guy in the world right now!!!!!! But my headers arn;t going to be here for a while  Is it a bad idea to run the cam and intake with the stock manifolds and exhust set up? Or should i wait until the headers come in before i put the cam and intake on?
Let's see.
You could wait for the headers and enjoy the full performance your cam and intake have given you...
OR, you could drive the Corvette now, and find out how much a difference headers make later! You could also see how much power the new parts have given you over stock.
Basically... the decision is drive the car now, or drive it later. Hmmmm....
I pick drive it now!

Also, by running it now it allows you to break in the cam and get the a/f ratio dialed in. I have read post of people baking their header coatings during cam break in because of improper a/f ratios. You will run leaner with headers so take that into consideration when you make the switch. Are you reusing your stock springs or did you get new ones? Make sure they will be  for your new cam. BTW I also vote drive now if you can't tell.
what would you rather do? Drive it?? or wait??
I agree - put intake and cam in w/ manifolds and install headers later to see what the difference will be. . .
