Worked on the C-3 Saturday, a couple comments and questions
1. Choke
2. Power Windows
3. Plug wires
1. The plastic cover of the Choke thermostat was broken so i got a new one at NAPA, the old one was loose as well. It starts much easier when cold, give it about three pumps. Still cranks a bit before starting but is 90% better. No chugging while warming up! What I did not except is for the car to run much better when warmed up!!
2. Passenger side power windows will barely go up, many times I will have to pull and wiggle it. I looked at the power window regulator gear and it does have teeth, could not see the motor gear. I was going to pull the motor but could not access the nut on the back of one of the bolts so I cleaned the tracks real good. I bought some white grease and will just lube it and put it back together next weekend and see if that helps. If not I will pull the motor
Here is a pick of the bolt location.

3. I got some plug wires from Summit, I think they were meant for headers cause the wires lay on the manifolds and will burn up. For testing purposes I wrapped them in tin foil. Do I just suck it up and but new plug wires or can I get some asbestos sleeves or something better than tin foil!!
When you raise the window does it go all the way up or make noise while going up From your pic it looks like your regulator is held in place with rivets. To remove the regulator drill out those rivets.
Yes Sir; If you bought the correct plug wires, for the year you are changing, ( YOU HAVE THEM ON WRONG!!! ) The plug wires go in the back of the motor, down the sides, The two front ones on both sides, go between the motor mount & the motor. There should of been two metal plug wire guards that protect those wires, bolted onto the block for those front wires, & little clips that also bolts onto the block, that hold the wires in place on all 8 wires, also. That is how you keep from burning them up. Hope this helps. Gene
If the wire you have on what appears to be the #1 plug is the longest one you have...You have the wrong wires. It needs to be longer to run under the manifold as stated above.
I have gotten in the habit of buying wires that you cut to fit. Very easy to do and you are sure to get the right length every time.

It goes up real slow then just stops about 1/3 of the way up
For the bolt you have highlighted on the window regulator, I don't believe there is a nut on the back. At least, there isn't one on my 73.
Make sure to take a lot of pics as you work on the windows - they can be a pain to get back to the correct placement. Good luck.
I can see the nut on the back however the bolts and nuts do not look like the others, I think someone has taken that motor out once in the past and put non OEM bolts to hold it up.
