Removing Factory Cruise?
I am removing my factory cruise control as it won't work for my LS swap. Removed the transducer and going with a one piece speedometer cable.
While removing the vacuum hose and wire from the firewall I found a color change in the wires. There was a white and brown wire at the transducer but at the brake pedal it was a white, brown and pink? Also another pink and red plug on the top of the switch? Can't find that page in my schematics?

I would like to wire the brake switch to turn off the lock out for the 2004R. Will the factory brake switch with cruise on my 78 work of do I need to change to the S10 with cruise? Any year of S10? I could live with out the manual over ride switch, is it possible to eliminate it in the circuit? Open to suggestions?
