I've taken grief from purists (C2 pipes) and if I were to post a current pic they'd have a heart attack (C5 seats). As I've said before, the pipes are LOUD but I luv 'em. Being 70 and half-deaf doesn't hurt. Y'all have a wonnerful weekend, Bill
Your car doesn't require filling the back panel, this makes the decision easy. The only reason I chose NOT to get them on my '71 was because there was no easy way to fill the exhaust cut outs.........

I've had enough of purists telling everyone how it should be. How much fun do they have with their cars? Not a lot I doubt, unless reading up on date codes vin numbers is **** to them. Well it's not to me and I couldn't give a sh*t either providing no one has put a Honda engine in it or something else retartded.
I bought my car to have fun and that's exactly what I do with it, I put race numbers on it with our clubs logo and organise our drag racing series, these numbers stay on all year and is great PR for the club and because my car looks like a pro tourer i'm always getting young kids coming up to me and talking about the car and these could be future vette owners.
What young kid is going to dig a bog standard vette? Very few, so you enjoy your standard cars and let us enjoy our modded cars and the PR that goes with it.
1 - Vettes are not Bugatti's, they are mass produced cars with the same engine as the other Chevy's.
2 - They were built to a price and it shows in lots of areas, they can be improved upon.
3 - Dealers have made every mug think there car is worth millions and is some 'rare' vette which most aren't, the only rare one's are L88's etc, your 'radio delete' car isn't worth any more and isn't any more interesting.
4 - We're not all in this for the money, if I was I wouldn't buy a vette as it is a money pit.
Rant nearly over....
I love vette's and I do all I can to get young people into vette's. It's your car so do what you want with it (to a point), dodgy bodykits excluded.
It's not 1970 anymore, it's 2013, bias belted tyres, dynamos, drum brakes, vacuum operated wiper doors, old headlights and dodgy steering just don't cut it now ( unless you want to drive like an old woman and go into the back of the first new car which stops on a dime?
My Tremec 600RR 5 speed is awesome, would I swap a M21 back in , never!
So purists, please chill out with the indoctrination
Enjoy your rides guys (and gals)
