As mentioned on the general forum, earlier this week my throttle cable broke. Found some online, but price varies significantly and I was wondering if there're any difference between the parts.
What should I look for when shopping for those cables? And what's the 3x2 stands for?
I like mid america, and any of the other venders on this site, of the other two , corvette speciallity will buy from the others and sell to you , usually with a back order or a wait, I live 40 miles from them and dont buy from them. This is my personal view, but the venders pay for this site and they go out of their way to make things right when there are any issues.
Called the store to see if they have the cable in stock, they confirmed. Proceeded with submitting an order on their website, providing all my info including CC. Got an email the next day telling me item is not available and they have no dates when it will be... (for some reason email went directly to spam/junk folder, so it took couple of days to figure this out).
Okay, happens (although shouldn't!).
Continued to a different website, went through the process again, and got similar email the next day!
Now I really don't know what to do. For once, cable prices varies tremendously between sellers ($25 to $100!!! for same cable??). But more then that, not sure I want to provide my info for every website out there, especially if it runs by jokers. Please advise
