Default c3 trailing arm

Hello Guys and gals need some help. I bought this 1974 stingray, it was riding very slugish at the rear end almost out control, My mechanic said the right side needed almost all the bushings replaced, which he did, here is my question the trailing arm on this car is not the OEM standard solid type, it actually is sloted at the actuall arm but it fits on and off no problem looks like it belongs to it but I can not find the bushings or the bolts that goes with it and no one that I know off carries it they are all too big for the kind of arm. I was told by eckler corvette in titusville FL that it was a heavy duty type of trailing arm, but they dont carry the bushing kit, and I cant tell who manufacture this one, dont want to soend close to $500 replacing both arms with OEM just for bushings.
Any thoughts or idea's will be very much appreciated
Thanks

Sounds like aftermarket trailing arms. If you cannot determine who made the arms, you are not likely to find the bushings. It is also possible the company they came from went out of business years ago.

Spend the $500 and purchase a pair of stock, remanufactured trailing arms. They will use stock bushings.

Your explanation of the arm being slotted where it fits on and off doesn't make sense. Provide pictures and someone can likely help you sort it out.
