Something Missing on my defroster duct?
On My wifes 78 the windshield defroster has been weak. I started looking at it and notice the duct that goes from the dash outlet a amd attaches to the lower windshield frame with two screws has a large gap were it attaches to the air box.Its wide enough for me to stick my finger. what came off? Is there suppose to be a connector seal on there?

Does it look like this? This is my '77. It seems that most later model cars have the same condition. I do not have a picture but used some foam weatherstrip to seal the hole without blocking airflow to upper duct. mike...
