epoxy primer
Can i use 2 part epoxy primer sealer on a c3.i get it for free and have used it with great results on steel cars but have never painted fiberglass.i am painting the whole car.i also get the same mfg. paint so there wont be any problems.

when you say sealer, that usually means it's being used to separate older finish from new finish. epoxy primer is usually intended to give good adhesion on bare surfaces for new paint. primer can fill some bad areas and can and must be sanded if not painted soon after application. fiberglass is so porous that most good primer surfacers will give good adhesion.

If you click the "FORMS" icon in the red bar, you will find a Forum tittled "GENERAL CORVETTE" click it and you will find a forum tittled "PAINT/BODY". They have a lot of useful info about using an epoxy primer on Corvettes. Pay attention to members Porchdog and Dub especially.
