jumpy electric tach
Gentlemen, is their any reason other then the tach at the end of it's lifespan to make it jump like this? The tach filter is new as well is the distributor. The wires are even shielded. (it's a 74 with a 75 electric tach)

Thanks for thinking along Gary. All those items have about 300 miles on them but you never know. I'll try a different cap when I'm at the local speedshop.
Is there any way to test the tach when it's in the car?
