Digital Timing Light question
Trying figure out the digital advance part on the Timing light;
I know at idle it works fine, but don't fully understand the digital advance button on the timing light :confused:

Press the up or down button until the timing mark on the harmonic balancer lines up with zero on the pointer next to the harmonic balancer. At that point, note the reading on the timing light.

Right.
I'm not a timing light savant or anything, it just so happens that I purchased one of those digital timing lights this past November. It's a good tool to have. The tach readout is a nice bonus.
