Brake light indicator on 1980
I've just finished cleaning up the speedo/tack module on my 1980 and have re-installed it. I notice the illumination lights work, as well as the turn signals and hi-beam indicator. The parking brake light does not. I can't remember if the light was on whenever the ignition switch is on or only when running. I can turn on the ignition but not start it yet due to some other under the hood work in progress. Can someone check for me? Any tips on working with the plug-in connector on the back of the module? The center gauge cluster is out so I can get my hand back there... sort of.

Okay. Here is the otherwise bonehead question of the day: parking brake on?

Yup, the parking brake was on. Darn, I knew this would be a problem. I hate that connector to flexible circuit board interface. I'll probably have to pull the module out again. That speedo cable is so easy to work with too.
