Default T-top fitment woes

I refurbished my glass T-tops today (new weatherstriping etc). Now the panel won't go on correctly anymore. I mean I can get the 2 hooks to catch the receivers in the middle and with some effort I can get the front pin to go into the header but the rear one doesn't want to engage the lock in the pillar. The rear of the panel seems to mouch outboard.

Is the new striping the cause of this.

What can I do about that ?

thanks

first off...don't force them to engage! Especially glass tops. New weatherstripping has not taken its final shape yet. I would lay the t-tops in place without forcing the to engage. I had good luck heating the weatherstripping up with a hair dryer then putting the t-top in place. Once in place...let the weight of the t-top hold it in place for a day. Retry the hairdryer again if they are still misaligned. They will eventually "take a set"

Check to make sure the weatherstripping isnt folding under itself on install. Smear the weatherstripping with dielectric grease (the clear kind, not the yellow paste-y kind).
