2004r and steering wheel lock?

2004r and steering wheel lock?
Has anyone who's done the swap figured out how to get the cable steering lock to work? looks like a different (home made) bracket, and then just attach it. called BTO and was told that it was difficult with the 700r4 and impossible with the 2004r. as all of us know, nothins impossible given the right attitude and a big enough hammer

I cheated and disabled the lock. I really don't think the bracket would be that hard to adapt (or replace) but it just wasn't a priority for me.
I know that the Shiftworx kit contains one. Maybe you can look at the pic and get some ideas.
