Default Bolt/screw sizes in aim

Hi, all
ok, so maybe I'm blind. but every time I refer to my aim for
information, the size of the bolt/screw/nut is never listed...

I can find some in my Corvette parts manual...

Is there something I'm missing...?

thanks
Gary

Nope, your missing nothing. The only numbers GM gives in the AIM is the PN. There is a place that sells GM fasteners, by the PN! Which is highly convenient, or you can get them in sets from any of the Corvette parts suppliers.

There's a reason for this! There aren't a whole lot of 'common' fasteners in a C3 Corvette. Just about every nut, bolt, washer, clip or fastener seemed to be unique to the job it was doing on the car!

One of these.

Handy for lots of bolt, screw, and fastener sizes.

You can find these in hard copy paper or on CD. I have two in hard copy and one on CD. Both work, but I can find things faster in the hard copy version. About 1000 pages in paper; one huge .pdf file on CD.
