ANOTHER vacuum question
Reading all of the posts about wiper door and headlight operation got me checking my system. Everything seems to work except for the fact that I don't have vacuum reserve. I know there is another post addressing this. This is what I found while trying to figure out if it is a bad resovior (sp) or another leak somewhere.
When I pinch off the vac line from the manifold after the check valve that goes through the firewall the headlights pop open and the wiper door opens. Is that supposed to happen???

When you lose vaccum the lights will open. So what you did when you pinched the lines would seem to show that you have a vaccum leak between that point and the head lights

The wiper door open too, so could there be a leak in the wiper end of the vac. circuit too???
Also, when I turn off the engine, everything stays down and closed, like it should. If there was a leak, wouldn't either the lights or wiper door open when the engine is off and no longer pulling vacuum?? :confused:
