I installed a T56 Magnum in a 77. I need to know the part number for the U bolts that connect the drive shaft to the differential. I bought the transmission from Keisler and they supplied the U Joint and U bolts for the connection to the transmission but not the U bolts to connect the drive shaft to the differential.
The differential is a rebuilt 3.70 stock unit. I was told by Corvette America that the part number for the proper U bolts kit was UJ329-10 from Precision. I got that part number from NAPA and it is not wide enough to fit the front of the differential.
Does anyone know the part number and where to get this part? It is my understanding that the diff U bolts should be the same from 1969 -1980.
It depends on what pinion flange you have. U-bolts were used up thru 1970 on 4 speed cars. In 71 they all used straps and bolts with a 1330 series u-joint. A pic would be a big help.

Thanks for the reply. The car is a 77 but I bought a rebuilt diff when I changed the ratio from 3.08 to 3.73. Not sure what year the rebuilt diff is. This will be bolted to a custom drive shaft from Keisler and a T56 Magnum tranny. The length is fine, the front slip yoke and U bolts are fine, the rear U joint matches up fine to the pinion yoke on the front of the diff and the end of the drive shaft.
What I do not have is the necessary bolts to attach the drive shaft and U joint to the pinion yoke on the diff. I bought the recommended U bolts for a 77 (precision UJ329-10) but they need to just a little wider to match up with the diff.
I will post a better picture when I get home on Friday. I am currently in Cleveland on business. The link below is from my collection of photos showing my progress with the restomod. It will show the pinion yoke on the diff. I just assumed that the drive shaft would mount like the half shafts.
