Default Side pipe options?

I have always loved side pipes on the C3's and have decided to get some. Please show me some pics of different styles. I like the hookers, but I am not sure I want to go to the trouble of building custom headers to fit the LS1. What other options are there?

Check out the original '69 style they will hook right up to your existing manifold. There are quite a few on this forum, check out GordonM or Binnie77 also the pic on the cover of Corvette Fever.

Regular '69 style on my '71 - covers and mufflers. Bolt right up! See the signature below.

I like the original style but don't like the price. Especially when I have to modify them to fit my LS1 manifolds.

A muffler shop should be able to hook you up pretty easily if you go with the original '69 style, just a couple of small bends. I don't think I've ever seen anyone use side pipes with an LS1. The closest thing I've seen is in one of my catalogues that showed a C4 with side pipes and covers. I don't know if this is a possibility or not, but what about shorty headers and '69 style side pipes? That might work. Wish I could be more help. Good luck.
