minor electrical issues with the 82....
Would like to know if any other 82 owners have experienced the following?
It's weird, but since I changed out the fuel filter last week, when I turn the key on, I don't hear the fuel pump turn on. There is no 2 second whine that I've gotten so use to. It starts and runs great, but I can't hear the pump anymore......thoughts on this......
A general question on the headlights, I've noticed the last few days that driving to work in the AM, that my lights flicker very slighty as I am going down the road. My dash lights are not affected, the Volt gauge moves slightly back and forth when this happens, and it is still above 13V, so it is not discharging.
I have left the lights on in the garage and wiggled the wires near the lights and have made sure that the connections are tight. I could not get the lights to flicker in the garage or with the short ride I took afterwards.
Could it be a ground connection, or maybe a short in the wiring somewhere that I should be looking for????

Sounds more like a ground problem to me. If you have an AIM, it should show the grounds. I would look there first.
