joubs 81 corvette

Need help. I keep blowing the tale lamp fuse when i put on the head light switch.Its a new switch.This is my second one.I thought the first new switch was bad so bought the one that in the car now.Still same problem.The weird thing is my head lights work but nothing ells does that works off the switch.

You have a short in that circuit and need to check the wiring. Get a wiring diagram and then you can trace it out.
Have you done any work recently in those areas of the car.

Or do a hardcore version - hard wire the fuse location and look for smoke
