Gauge lights and tachometer
I rewired 79 corvetter from fuse box back. After doing so my speedometer and tachometer lights were not working. Someone mentioned a ground and i put a wire from back of tach to frame of car. This caused the tachometer to quit working. Best i can tell the signal clip is not working from what i read about hooking a wire to clip and using multimeter betwen that and wire that goes into distributer. The turn signals and lights in the center of cluster do work.
1. One question how does the circuit board on back of cluster ground?
2. Any ideas on fixing the lights for speedo it makes it very hard to drive at night bc no interior light.
