Center gauges work, but lights do not.

Center gauges work, but lights do not.
Hey folks I'm needing a bit of advice. My center gauges all work fine, but none of the lights will come on for them. Is it most likely the circuit board or is there something else I need to look into. I tried the search but couldn't find anything on it. My Hanes manual doesn't have any thing on this particular problem either.

Likely the circuit board. My car has the same problem, and the last time I had the gauge cluster out I saw the 12v trace on the circuit board was cracked right near where the wire harness connector is inserted. I have a new circuit board and will install as soon as the weather warms up.

Do you have any IP lights on any of the gauges? If all of them are out, check the IP fuse. If you are certain the fuse is good, check the rheostat on the light switch. IP lights can be dimmed up and dimmed down by turning the light switch ****.

The switch is new, and the speedo / tach lights do come on, tho they are very weak. I had changed out all of the bulbs when I had the dash apart to fix my vacuum leak in the ac / heater lines. Turning the light switch doesn't bring them on at all. I do have the light that shines down from the top of the console working great. It's not connected to any of the other lighting tho.

Light Switch
When I put my dash back in after I replaced the power brake booster (NO FUN!) I bent one of the male ends on the light switch down so that it did not connect into the harness. It caused my lights to not work. Not sure if this is your issue but good luck.
