They are coming out with the later C3 VHX series soon.

It should not be too difficult of an install. Check with a local corvette club if you don't want to take on the install.

Custom Image Corvettes (Josh) is selling the new VHX series... Try contacting Josh and I'm pretty sure he'll be able to get the digital gauges if offered by DD...

I bought the first production unit they made for my 72 coupe, through Josh. They look real cool. I'll post pics once I get them installed.

You might want to make sure that you like the digital before springing for them. I pulled my stock speedo for an Autometer digital speedo/ tach combo. The digital looks cool, but I definitely like reading the analog gauges better, especially at a glance the analogs are much easier to read.

Those VHX systems are way easier to wire compared to using individual gauges to make a custom cluster. I've been looking at a VHX system to put in my 65 Impala and I can tell just looking through the info that it's be WAY easier to wire than individual gauges by the time I try to also put new indicator lights into the dash as well. For example, individual gauges require terminating 6 light wires and 6 ground wires just to get them to light up. The DD unit you just screw a dash light wire into the terminal block.

Most of the wires should just come from the wiring harness that goes to the original dash cluster. Then, add the sensors which run directly and the few extra wires you may need.

Bought this kit from the op. After wiring my Holley ECU harness this looks like a piece of cake. I am now thinking of adding the digital AC control for my Vintage Air to match. Hope to start posting a few pictures next week.

Dash is finished with all gauges working. Speedo set up and gear indicator is working. May have a battery drain or a bad battery. Have had the battery on a trickle charger the last few days and the gauge reads 11.5 volts, when I start it has 13.4. Going to load test the battery later this week.

Looking good. I got the VHX system installed in the Impala. I'm really liking these new analog gauge systems Dakota Digital is building. The control module wires the same except it uses a CAT5 cable to connect the cluster.

I'm running the speedo and tach from the PCM in the car so I jacked it up and ran the speedo calibration counter up to 4000 counts to match the gauges to the internal PCM speed. I checked with a GPS and the speed was high by barely 1kph so close enough for me. In the future if I change tires or anything else I'll just update the PCM programming and the trans shifting and speedo will both be corrected.
