Default 1/2" fuel pickup

Does anyone make a fuel 1/2 pickup? I have a 72.

I made my own with a plate, bulkhead fitting, and tubing.

They DID make them for Vettes.. I guess the demand was not big enough. They took them off the site I see.

I would just drill out the sending unit and braze a 1/2" pick up tube on it. Then put a -10 fitting on the outside.

It's cheaper. The RobbMC pick up was like $200 anyway..

I don't have a picture available at the moment, and from the outside there isn't much to see. It's nothing more than a circular plate with holes for the bulkhead fitting and sending unit, though the sending unit hasn't ever worked. I don't drive the car on the street so not having a working fuel gauge isn't an issue for me.

I bent a 1/2" tube to replicate the shape of the factory pickup tube, and zip tied the factory strainer sock on the end of the tube.
