82 CE Paint Codes Needed !
Destiny should be going into the booth this week, and I want to confirm the colors for the shop. Anyone have both codes? They do alot of vettes, but haven't had a CE in over 2 years so they really don't know. I hope some of you do!

The code is #59 Silver Beige. It probably shows 59U and 59L on your trim tag as the codes on your driver's side door pillar post. The "other" colors on your car are done through decals.

Hey Paul, I knew that! lol I just thought that it was like a longer number or something. Is that all the dealer needs to know to mix the paint? 82dukeman sent me the brown paint code for the tail light holes, so I'm good to go there. Thanks for the help! :)

The Dupont code for the silver bege exterior-D8259G, the Dupont code for thesilver bege interior-D8259J the Dupont code for the dk brown interior-D8262J. hope this helps :smash:

One thing though, the dark brown code, will it work on the wheels as well as the dash lets say? Same code? :seeya

I had the brown interior color mixed...the paint shop asked if this is low-gloss, semi-gloss, or hi-gloss. I picked the semi-gloss. Seems okay, but maybe someone knows for sure?

Hi Greg, I've heard that if it's too shiney, you can use a touch of the matting spray to dull it. Just a thought.
Also, what color are the gills/louvers for the fenders? I've heard that they are brown. I've heard they're black. I've just ordered a set from GM, but I'm too curious to wait for them to get here! lol Anyone know for sure?

Thanks to ALL of you for the help. I know that I can always count on the rest of you 82 CE owners out there, and anyone on this forum. :D
Found crossfire emblems at Paragon......ordered today.....i'll post what they look like when they get here. You guys with CE's might want to order a set just to have around. There's like 19 bucks a piece. I'm going to keep my old one's just because.
