just finished replacing my upper and lower control arms, tie rods, inner & outer, and idler arm. everything went well and i just checked my camber and i am at zero deg on both sides. about to start on toe and thought i would look at the caster angle. I found
Not too clear on how you are doing it. My understanding is you can start with right wheel turn out 20 degrees level bubble and set gauge to zero turn wheel in 20 degrees level bubble and take reading off gauge. Repeat with left side.
@ TheSkunkWorks, there was only 3 and 4 on the left side and i think there is 6 on the right front and back. i have seen alot of pic's and i hear alot of complaints about the huge shim pack on the uppers. but i have a small amount. i ordered a shim pack, so i am thinking when i am done ill have a larger shim pack too.
@ mel, i did it like the vid showed. 15 deg out and in, the tool's front edge is cut in a point with a stright edge its easy to see.
