sometimes the courtesy lights remain on for no reason at all. the dimmer switch clicks on off and the dash lights dim down fine. after messing around some with the dimmer switch for a while but giving up eventually they go off by themselves. I just don't turn the switch anymore to turn on the courtesy light cuz I don't want it stuck. any ideas?
The door jamb switches ground out the circuit to complete it. You could have a short to ground anywhere in the wiring between the lights and the door jamb switches.
