I have nitrous on my car now. 100-150 shot all I can say is WOW!!!!
MY numbers are 426/430 HP and 461/466TQ on motor. It was 92 Deg in the dyno room,so my numbers were off alittle.
On nitrous

We could have made more power buy leaning out the A/F mixture but we left it rich, to be on the safe side.
The mid year vette on the video was my friends 66 454/ Rec ports/solid cam.
Hooker side pipes. With the pipes closed it made 330HP 340TQ. With open headers 426HP 435TQ. It was like he hit the nitrous when he took the collectors off. You would think hooker would make a better muffler for those side pipes. He took the mufflers and chunked them in the trash and drove home with open headers.

Wow.
I have a Sportsman Fogger on mine. I have not taken it to get dyno'd yet. When you ran the different shots how much did you set back the timing, change plugs, octane fuel, etc. What type of system do you have.
I have a Sniper NOS kit. The timing was about 38. I didnt change the timing between runs. Because I had 110 octane mixed with 93. If your runing pump gas you should pull the timing back 2 deg up to 150 shot.
Glenn, You have to download your files onto a website of some sorts and then post that shortcut. Go to the homepages tab on the forum and sign up for one, it is pretty simple, they give some free storage space for pictures and stuff.

Agree & Note the similiarity of what you said about the sidepipes & what I have been saying sometimes using the nitrous ex. :
My first car a Chevy Hot Rod I built had the glasspack mufflers toward the front. I increased power & during an acceleration run it blew the mufflers off & took off like a blower had kicked in ! I then suspended the mufflers ft. & rr. so that a hard jab on the gas would blow off. Best done after staging ! Too late to back out now- got ya !
