Hi guys. I have an unknown intake that has 2 bolts in each corner. Which rules out an OEM compressor bracket. This car originally had ac, everything is there but compressor and hookup hoses. I've been advised to buy a Sanden compressor. I've had a lot of cars in my 60yrs,but first Vette. Where can I find a set-up that will work for me? And, if I buy a Sanden compressor, am I going to have a problem hooking up to the OEM hoses.
Summer is quickly approaching her in Fla, and I need to get this resolved quickly.
Thanks in advance, I'll post a pic when the car comes back from the shop.

Mike. How long has this system been open to atmosphere? The drier under the pass. side fender will also need to be replaced. I replaced my drier and orifice tube. You will also need to pull a vacuum on the system after you have it assembled and sealed up. The pics. are of my '77 if they can help. mike...
Here are 2 pics that shows I can't use a back brace that bolts to the intake. I want to use a Sanden compressor. I think I have found the right bracket, But am unsure about hooking up to the OEM condenser and,
evaporator lines. Thanks for any help, Mike
Hi all. Does anyone have a pic of a Sanden compressor on a SBC? And if so, what mod # is it. I'm still looking for a bracket that does not bolt to the intake. The link that Speedreed gave me is down, at least I can't get on it.
Thanks again. I'm sure I'll be back,as I am a 60yr rookie.
Does the factory bracket bolt to the intake?? I know the Air Pump does.
The stock AC bracket bolts to the head face and the water pump and the exhaust manifold stud.
I fabbed up a spacer to work with my headers....here is a pic...
