Hey all, new to forum and just bought my first Corvette. A red 1974 Coupe L82, 4 speed, is in really good condition, only 39,000 miles on original engine! My first task is to replace my u-joints ---> looks like alot of fun didn't expect to find 6 of them under there! Have alot of other things I want to do to it in the future. Will post a pic when I figure out how exactly to to it.
sweet 74's Rock...........Just curious why the car would need U joints with so little miles?? Do you have any engine mods planned....74's respond well to mods
Welcome! And don't rush to do too much too fast. As you get to know the car, you'll find out the "now" stuff and the "later" stuff. Enjoy cruising for awhile :yesnod:
Welcome and I agree with BlueL36.. Drive the car a while and see what she REALLY needs first. You can always do what you want after you give her what she needs...
I want PICTURES people. For every day that you go without posting pictures, you have to send me $10. :jester
Really, though, like they said, I already have a now list and a later list. I just got mine a few weeks ago. Great to have another new owner, maybe now I won't be the only one asking dumb questions.
Iam a new 74 owner also. I have a 74 conv. L48 just replaced the u-joints also. If you find out how to post pictures let me know so I can also. Thanks
