Default 1980 Headers?

I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can get (low profile?, block huggers?) headers to fit in my 1980 Vette (if that's even possible). It's a 350 (technically a 355) and I would love to put headers on it. Any help or suggestions or links?
Thanks,
Larry

I put Hooker long tubes on mine. No problems but I also have a custom true dual exhaust system behind them.

Shortys, I think. lol. I found some Flowmaster 814120 that look like they might work. They way my exhaust manifolds go straight down (gathered together at the center seems to be rare. Most headers I have looked at bend toward the back of the car at the bottom of the headers.

I am ordering them to see. They said I can send them back if they don't work. I appreciate the tip.

I have a set of block hugging headers that are ceramic coated that I will be removing to put the factory headers back on. They are on my 82. I bet I don't have 500 miles on them. You interested??

I think so yes. I am ignorant about headers though. One friend tells me they will make my engine get too hot. Another says they will be fine. I'm unsure what to do at this point.

How much are you asking for them anyway? And, is there a reason you are going back to the factory headers? Are they quieter or just better?

Thanks alconk,
Larry

I really like them but I had to remove the knock sensor on the side of the block because of clearance issues. So I've been running the car without the sensor and makes me nervous. That's the only reason. PM me a offer.

Any way you can send me a pic or two? As far as price I am clueless. I have found new ones from 279 to 759. I wouldn't want to offend you with a low price. But I'd really like to see what they look like for fit.
Thanks alconk.

I haven't forgot about you. Been finishing up on my headlight conversion. I found that those headers are made by Patriot and sell for $339. How'd you feel about $200 plus shipping?
