It figures, I am ready to take the car to the body shop for paint, but it won't start or even turnover. I have no power to anything!!! It started and ran fine on Sunday. Now NOTHING... I have charged the battery for 2 hours and still NOTHING. Please help. :mad
Does the battery show a charge? Just cause you charged it doesn't mean it took it.. If so you could use your jumper cables to create a new ground to help isolate the problem.
Here we go again. This is the problem......the firewall connector has a bad contact. The little blade connectors inside are so small it's a wonder they ever worked. It's the large red wire. To prove it out, just jiggle/push/pull on it while someone tries the key. It'll fire, guaranteed. This is so common it's silly really. I finally hard wired mine a couple years ago and have not had a problem since. I soldered the same gauge wire on the engine side, pushed the wire thru the firewall and soldered it on the inside to the same large red one.
