Still in the process of stripping the paint off my '81 and have found (so far) these repairs:
Gee...I do not think this is original....
And then there is this one....seems an odd place to have a repair..???...wonder if a car wash ripped the antenna off or something?? There was a 3" long crack in the clearcoat at the antenna base....now I know why.
Neither headlight door has a repair, it is just that one is green and the other is not. So one has been replaced.
So the green is OE factory primer? Which would make senser as there is that repair on the left front and I had to replace the left lower control arm when I got the car....it was slightly bent.
There is also about a 4" long stress crack just a bit past the right front wheel arch. I was hoping that it was just clear coat...but nope...it is the fiberglass...so that will need to be fixed.
Have to re-repair the antenna area as well.
Working on the bumper covers this weekend; the Citris Stripper on for an hour did pretty much nothing. Going to have to try longer and greater quanity...trouble is the humidity is so low right now that it dries out. Going to try putting some plastic wrap over it.

That's nothing.
Heck, if im mot careful i pull foot long chunks off my car. I think the whole front clip is a '75 on my '74.
But at least the frame and birdcage are 100%. I changed the body bushings and the frame mounts/brackets looked great.
Found a Lot of repairs like that on mine whe I took it apart. It had been rear ended sometime, non OEM rear glass, bumper cover from an 80, repairs to the rear edge where the bumper cover attaches. Bondo and paper towles and cardboard in the drivers side WS frame corner and of course more cancer since they didn't clean it up.
