Removing speedo from housing

Removing speedo from housing
1980
I need some help/insruction on removing the speedometer from the speed/tach housing.
I have found two tabs at the bottom of the speedo/tach and on each side of the indicator lights but don't want to force it for fear of breaking it.
PO installed a wood trim surround and there's no way at any screws at this time.

P.S. I have already checked the AIM and utilized the search function.

Disregard.
I continued with a sharp razor between the wood trim and speedo retainer and eventually got them apart (with minimal scratches to the retainer). After that it's pretty obvious how to remove it (6 allen screws size 9/64).
