To elaborate, we have a ford c-6 rapid release slip yoke. Does the TKO need a different yoke to bolt in to the stock parts? Or do we need to change the stock parts for the c-6 yoke?
EDIT: We were told by our tranny builder what yoke to buy... and now it doesn't work?
Hey guys, I had my Ford splined yoke installed at the driveshaft shop that shortened my driveshaft for me. I don't know if they had to change the end of the driveshaft or not, they never siad anything  ? Where is the driveshaft being modified? Did you contact Fortes to see what he suggests? Sorry I can't be more help, but that one thing I couldn't do myself :( .
I am putting a richmond 6 speed in my c3 and am using a th400 yoke from a passingr car. It has a different size u-joint than the drive shaft. The soultion is to use a th400 yoke from a corvette or:

Tyler,
I'll make a semi-educated guess that the TH400 yoke wants a 1350 series
U-joint and that your stock drive shaft uses a 1310 series U-joint. NAPA
sells such a hybrid under part number 348.
A less likely possibility is that the TH400 yoke uses a 1330 series
u-joint. If so, the hybrid that combines 1330 and 1310 is a NAPA part
number 353.
Not too sure what you mean by a solid u-joint, but it has the zerk fitting to grease the caps. I am running it behind a L88 clone. If you have a spicer or brute catalogue you can the info above to match a non zerk joint to a part number or try to cross the NAPA number.

I really apologize for being so ignorant when it comes to the obvious, but is this NAPA u-joint going to be strong? I bought a strong yoke to go on the end of my tranny and wouldn't want this to be the weak link. Again, sorry for the repeated, and relatively dumb, question!
