i hate that i have been looking for my dream car for 8 years, and finally found it... the fact that i got an AWESOME deal on the car... all the looks i get when i drive it from the girls / old peopel driving cars that have a price value of 5 times my car (which doesn't say much... cause they run off the road looking at mine) / the ricers when i smoke them at stoplights...
The only thing driving me  is the fact there always seems to be another place where water gets in when it rains after I found the previous one..... :cuss

Re: What bugs you about your C3? (SLICKMAN)
The only thing about my 78 I don’t like is I find myself always looking over the hood. You know, the nose is a little too high. But! Its all original and I have to deal with it.. Raise the rear a little? Hummmmm.. What bugs you????
I had the same problem. And then the front coil springs lost one coil each. Now I don't have that issue ..... :D
My problem -- Crappy A/C when it is over 100 degrees (every day) and side windows that either wont seal or rub against the "blowout" clips making a scratching / screaching noise over every bump......
What bugs me is I can't spend enough money all at once to make it perfect.
I fix things as I can and by the time I finish that last detail I know the first thing that I fixed is going to break from age and wear. :yesnod:
As far as looking over the hood, that is one of the reasons I bought a C3. Everytime I drive mine I think how cool the fender "humps" look. At least you can see the hood, most new cars dont even look like the have hoods from the drivers seat.
John
What? it bothers you that you have to look over the hood? i take pride in that hehe when you pull up next to someone and your hood stretches from the front of their car to their front seat, you and them BOTH KNOW thats not hiding a 4 cyl. one of the things i think makes the cars so pissed off is that fact. jesus you dont sit in the "front" of the car, like in a honda or another smallish car. the engines there. the front and only seat is in the middle. no i take that back. your front seat is about a foot away from your rear wheels. hehe. its all engine
Okay, let me explain about the hood thing seeing that some of you misunderstand about me looking over the hood… The front is a little too high, as with many C3’s so, it sometimes is difficult to see over the hood in some cases… So, the front end needs to be lower or, raise the rear a little.
On one of the roads I travel going over a hill and around a corner, there is a point were the visibility is ZERO. All I see is the hood..
One thing that we all have in common is; WE ALL LOVE OUR CAR :D
I'd say the roof design, the battery placement, and the urithane bumpers on the '73 - '81 Vettes which both bumpers are cracking on my '74. Besides those things I love those cars to death and I can't wait for two more years until I can drive them.
I agree! :yesnod: I have to wear sneakers to drive or my feet wedge under the dash. I wear 11 1/2 EEEE , try finding that in your local shoe store :jester
Interior gets way too hot. If I go on a long cruise on a hot day I look for a puddle to stand in when I stop.
It takes a little getting used to the long nose . The first time I put gas in it I got a little close to the car in front of me. The point of the nose was an inch away from their licence plate. Figured that one out real quick!!
But the best part is I have a Corvette and it's entirely too much fun ! :chevy
