81 light switch and center console gauges
Hi all;
i have a electrical problem on my 81 when i turn on my light my volt , fuel and oil pressure gauges stop working but my temp works turn off lights everything starts working fine , could it be ground

This is just a guess, but I say that it's likely the printed circuit, on the back of the gauge cluster.
There could be a tear or some other damage to it, causing a short or ground problem.
Have you had the center gauge cluster out recently, as they can easily be damaged, especially when the get older and brittle.
