Default Vendor praise

Well, we so often here about vendors not doing the right thing when it comes to problems, so here is some good vendors.

I bought a set of 4 L-88 race cars from Apollo Inc. , it was the Carousel 1/18th die cast ones. Well, a week after they arrived I got a second box of them, I though how nice but not what I wanted so I checked my credit card statement and sure enough they had charged me for another set. I called them up and they sent off a shipping label to send them back, no problem, no questions. Well I open the front door today and saw a shipping tube sitting there, I was about to get steamed because I didn't order anything else but opened it up and they sent me as a gift with their apologies for the mix up. Really wasn't necessary but thanks for twisting my arm to take it :D

The second vendor is Yearwood , I ordered a crossfire distributor cap and it arrived damaged so I called them and they said send it back and we'll replace it. No questions, no problems. My replacement arrived shortly and I noticed a credit for $6.95 for what it cost me to ship the part back.

In both cases I asked for nothing and the vendors took it upon themselves to do good, so they get a big  from me.

the poster is VERY    and you are right. we may :cuss about vendors but we rarely say anything nice when they do right. I have to do the same thing with my dealer, once they come through. they said bring the car in with a list of what's wrong, we fix it for parts at cost.. we will see
