My question is what is some things I should watch out for? Rear end issues, front end etc. I am going to start on interior have new carpet. Tach is not working not sure where to start it is plugged into distributor. Is the only way to seat back upright more is too buy a shim kit, can you make your owned? Any help or suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Does it run? Does it drive?

No idea if anybody ever worked on those things on your car, they're nearly40 years old, so you should inspect the front suspension, rear suspension for worn bushings, ball joints, detoriating rubber, etc

It's plugged into the distributor at the base and also into the back of the tach. If it's plugged into both, you may need to see if the cable is broken inside and go from there.

There is an adjustment on the bottom of the upright part of the seat, where it meets the bottom at the very back. You can lenghten or unscrew that to make the seat more upright
Any help or suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks in advance
Nice! Like the color, like the stance and wheels. Good looking 'Vette!
Still need info, though, to answer your questions.
Does it run and drive? Any problems that you notice, while driving it? Stick or Auto? Have you had the suspension inspected or looked at it yourself? Has somebody done this already, or does it look 38-39 years old?
Just as an example, I purchased my 74' and somebody had already put an entirely new rear suspension, including the half-shafts, trailing arms and leaf spring, but had never touched the front suspension.
Thanks and yes it runs and drives, just got out of shop for tranny yesterday and it drives good. The mech did not see anything wrong except the power steering cyclinder was rubbing against oil pan so he shimmed the engine. Shifts nicely and since I haven't driven to far yet it seems ok. Only when I back up do I hear a noise clunking a little not much. I hear no noise driving. The car has headers and I put on new mufflers. I will post more pics later as I am at work.
Do a search on rear clunk or clunking, reverse clunking and you'll find a lot of threads on this. This is a common problem on C3's with various answers. Glad it's driving nicely.
lower that thing! looks like a monster truck! the rest looks great though
Or fill it with some bigger wheels! 17's always look good on the stock suspension 'Vettes and it's easier to do (and subsequently reverse or modify if the occasion warrants it...)
Maybe I should have put 70's instead of 60's. I know the springs have those old school twist on lifts they are put between the springs maybe I should take out. But thanks for your comments, like I said my first corvette.
