Well maybe it was a good thing my wheels where junk. Found some cheaper, few lbs lighter, better backspacing and one week quicker than waiting for replacement of the other ones. Centerline comp series has a few styles I like and the Centerline sales guy says they will fit C3 brakes.
Well I can certainly give a thumbs up recommend for Centerline. I have a set on my vette and my Avalanche and I used to sell their wheels 20 years ago when I managed several Super Shops automotive performance centers in Florida. Great product, rarely a warranty claim and buying direct from them is painless.
I have 18 x 8 with 4" rear space and the fit is perfect. Hardest part is picking 1 design. Hope you make a choice and enjoy them.

saw yours in centerlines pictures, what size tires are you running? and have you got a rear view picture, I'm trying to visualize how big your tires appear

thanks, that looks great. i have been thinking of 285-40-18 for the rear, but haven't made up my mind. the 15" stuff is pretty much antique now and the newer rubber has to help the handling.

I agree though I almost went with the Centerline Convo Pro's but 15 was the limit. The tires are 2 fold. Handling increases but the car follows every little groove in the road and construction on I-95 especially south of you is really aggravating but curves are a blast
Thx for the input, figure this time I'd skip the middle man and hope for no problems.
I've bought from them direct twice now and had to replace one wheel from a curb hit (wife driving the Avalanche ) and I want to say it was Carlos or a similar name guy that helped me over the past 9 years and everything has gone perfect. The wheels on the corvette took a few weeks longer due to the new year holiday at the time but they do make them per order so you can get whatever offset you want.
I like the looks of larger wheels like yours, but I'm into drag. I prefer the smaller lighter 15's and the taller sidewall helps hook a bit more. Plus these Michigan roads I bend enough 15's.
The guy said it was 2-3 weeks and I think it took about 4 for the welds and another 3-4 for the replacments. So it'll be quicker or the same.
I agree with you 100% on the 15's for drag racing and grip at the launch. One of the guys that worked for me at Super Shops in Pensacola was from Flint and he said the same thing about the roads there and bending wheels. Sounds like an expensive place to live but good for wheel stores
what sizes are on yours paul? funny note i jus read the post above and as i read "but i'm into drag" the first picture of your car flipped up, didn't know what was happening, very nice car .

LOL that's where I race. I do see some who don't seem to have too many problems, but I think they are undr 20" and use a taller wide tire to have the biggest foot and take the blows of our never ending pot holes. Still that ends up being a pretty heavy wheel.
Also LOL at dude's drag/pic coment.
Also, also nice rides, the red one and the white one!

Reason: spelling dirrrr
I ordered the Split Spokes, when I asked for weight they were the lighter of the two. by about 1.75# each. I ordered direct, guy was Huey and was very helpful.
Just figured I'd update incase someone reads this thread. The wheels hit my calipers and with an open wheel design I didn't want to grind them down and I was gonna dragrace so I didn't want to use spacers. I returned the wheels and had to wait over 6 weeks.
