Default Caliper help Please!

Hi all,

I had to replace the metal brake line that feeds my rear left caliper. I understand I have to bleed that caliper.
For what I have been reading I have to bleed the inner half first and then the outer half. Correct?

Apparently each half has 1 bleeding nipple, but my calipers have 2 bleeding nipples on the outer half and 1 on the inner half.

How to I proceed? I suppose I still should start with the inner half(as it only has 1 nipple) and then with the outer half, but which of the 2 nipples in the outer half should I bleed first?

Thank you in advance!

you only bleed the bleeders that face forward, the rearward one should be a plug but you don`t need to concern yourself with it.

I bought two new calipers last fall and replaced the metal and flex rear lines on both sides. One had the plug other had the bleeder, I bought a bleeder for the plug one and just started farthest in flow and wokred my way toward the line.

The air will always be at the top. There is no need to bleed from the bottom.

Pretty sure I gave that a shot and ended up bleed all started with farthest and got a lil air from each. Also think I read on here to bleed em like that.

The factory plugged the bottom hole. Rebuilders add bleeders to the previously plugged ones. I did a gravity bleed when I did mine a few weeks ago. Work great now. Simple.

Correct. Outer caliper halves can be swapped from side to side. The bleeder is always at the top; bottom port is always plugged.

rear outer caliper halves are NOT the same and can NOT be swapped, they only have one fluid transfer hole...

thanks guys for the help!!!

So! I was just going to proceed to bleed the caliper when I noticed the pin pad was GONE!

the caliper is "almost" in the right position position, it is just a little higher of where it should be. the holes on the calipers are higher than the holes on the wheel assembly. I got a new pad pin but I how do I get them to align now? do I have to disconnect the caliper to reduce the pressure on the disc ? or do u ise a rubber hammer? (that i sort of did but it did not work)

see picture. help? thanks!
