rick,
just remove the door skins and put up the window. its tight but you can get in there. i dont have my vette with me but i think there are two screws and the lock that need to be removed to get the skins off along with the pull handle (2 more screws). the two screws on the outside edge go through little tabs that stick out from the skins into the door jams you will see what i mean if you run your hand along the edge of the door and the door skins. after removing all the screws and door lock(c clip behind lock) the skins need to be picked up a little to clear the lip they rest on and moved toward the front to get around the front of the door handle
