Default Tach AND voltmeter stopped working???

Today while fixing my lic plate and reverse lights, my tach and voltmeter stopped working. Tach is stuck at 750 rpm, Voltmeter is all the way to the left. Ive checked my fuses, cant find any loose wires....any ideas???

Edit: I keep popping the 7.5 fuse in the upper left corner, the one for the 'instrument lamps'....does this run the tack and voltmeter too?????

Sounds like you have an issue with a ground or a hot wire that has the wire exposed someplace and it shorting out, causing the fuse to pop. I would track that first. Not sure what fuse runs the tach and voltmeter on your year but someone will chime in that has the AIM or a electric diagram.
